LEOS Antenna

LEO satellites operate in various frequency bands, such as UHF , VHF , S-band, X-band, and Ku-band, among others. The choice of frequency band depends on the satellite's purpose and the desired communication characteristics.

LEO satellites use different types of antennas, such as patch antennas, helical antennas, dipole antennas, or phased-array antennas. The choice depends on factors such as satellite's size, power requirements, and the need for directional or omnidirectional coverage.
Due to the rapidly changing satellite positions,LEOS antennas may need to have adequate gain and beamwidth to be able to distribute the signal strength in a particular direction and support wide-angle coverage.

MIS LEOS antennas are designed with tracking systems that can adjust the antenna's position to stay aligned with the satellite ,when it moves quickly across the sky to maintain a stable communication link.

MIS engineers will design and tailor the antenna system to meet the communication need according to customer's specific requirements and satellite's mission objective .
